## Install and sign in

Use `autumn login --no-browser` to print a sign-in URL instead of opening a browser.

`mcp-config` prints client configuration for the hosted server at `https://api.autumn.ai/mcp`. Claude and Cursor handle sign-in through the client. For Codex, set `AUTUMN_API_KEY` in the environment where Codex runs. The output never prints an API key.

## Exit codes

* `0`: task completed successfully.
* `1`: task failed or was canceled.
* `2`: Autumn needs input; reply to the task.
* `3`: task is still running.
* `4`: authentication is required.
