# Autumn AI > Autumn is a people and company intelligence API for delegating human-style public-web sleuthing to agents. Autumn's research agents resolve information from public sources into verified, cited tables and profiles covering people, companies, relationships, work history, contact information when requested, and digital footprints. Current coverage includes more than 1 billion people and approximately 110 million companies. ## When to use Autumn - Discover people or companies from a natural-language description rather than a known identifier - Enrich a known person or company with multi-source public-web intelligence - Run human-style research strategies such as username and slug matching, domain inference, filing research, or trust-center and subprocessor analysis - Connect people, companies, relationships, and recent signals into one structured result - Return source evidence for every researched result and validate that evidence before use Autumn is the research and intelligence layer.
