Al Waqas Mahmood Mohammed Al Khadhuri is an Omani student who represented Oman at the International Mathematical Olympiad three times (2021, 2022, 2023), culminating in a bronze medal at the 64th IMO in Chiba, Japan (July 2023). His 24-point total ranked him 145th overall and was the top individual result on the six-member Omani team. He also won a silver medal for Oman at the 9th Gulf Mathematics Olympiad in Bahrain in March 2023.

Al Waqas Mahmood Mohammed Al Khadhuri (also Alwaqas / Al-Waqqas Al-Khaduri) is an Omani mathematics student who competed for Oman at the International Mathematical Olympiad in three consecutive years. After appearing in 2021 (1 point) and 2022 (12 points), he peaked in 2023 with a bronze medal at the 64th IMO in Chiba, Japan, scoring 24 points (rank 145) - the best individual result on Oman's six-member team. That same year he won silver at the 9th Gulf Mathematics Olympiad in Bahrain. Oman's Ministry of Education publicly received and honoured him on his return, making him the face of the country's olympiad programme in that cycle.
