Ali Daei Naby is a fourth-year PhD student in Operations Management and Statistics at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management, advised by Azarakhsh Malekian and Ming Hu. His research spans revenue management and mechanism design, focusing on how limited information - coarse post-allocation signals, costly value inspection, limited price experimentation - shapes pricing and selling mechanisms. Before Rotman he earned an M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics (2022, GPA 18.52/20) and a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Applications (2020) from Sharif University of Technology in Iran. He represented Iran at the 2015 International Mathematical Olympiad, winning a bronze medal, and later competed for Sharif at the 2019 International Mathematics Competition.
