Amila Pašić

Amila Pašić is a mathematics student from Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, one of the country's most consistent young competition mathematicians. She first drew attention as an elementary pupil, then won a bronze medal at the 27th Junior Balkan Mathematical Olympiad (2023) in her first year at Gimnazija "Meša Selimović" in Tuzla. She was Bosnia and Herzegovina's top scorer at the European Girls' Mathematical Olympiad (EGMO) 2025 in Prishtina with 19 points and a bronze medal, competed again at EGMO 2026 in Bordeaux, and represented BiH at the 67th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO 2026) in Shanghai, earning an honourable mention with 12 points as BiH finished 32nd overall - its best-ever IMO result. Beyond mathematics she is an accomplished pianist, and her school has named her student of the generation.
