Anish Prasad Sevekari

Anish Prasad Sevekari is an Indian mathematician and machine-learning researcher who represented India at the International Mathematical Olympiad in both 2013 (Santa Marta, Colombia) and 2014 (Cape Town), winning a bronze medal each time. He studied mathematics and computer science at the Chennai Mathematical Institute (2014-2017), reaching the ACM-ICPC World Finals in 2017, then earned a PhD in Mathematical Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University (2023) under Wesley Pegden. He moved into machine learning and computational biology as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Pittsburgh (Computational and Systems Biology), and has since worked in quantitative research at The Voleon Group in Pittsburgh.
