Bat-Od Battseren

Bat-Od Battseren is a mathematician working in operator algebras, functional analysis and geometric group theory. He was a two-time International Mathematical Olympiad contestant for Mongolia (2011 and 2012, Honourable Mention both years), then studied at the National University of Mongolia and earned a PhD at Université Côte d'Azur (2021). He held a JSPS postdoctoral fellowship at RIMS, Kyoto University (2021-2023) and became a postdoctoral scholar at Vanderbilt University (2023-2026).
