Chi Hong Chow is a mathematician working in geometric representation theory, mirror symmetry, Schubert calculus and symplectic topology, with a focus on flag varieties, quantum cohomology and Fukaya categories. He is currently a Patricia Caldwell Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Mathematics at Virginia Tech (since Aug 2025), after a postdoctoral fellowship at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in Bonn (2024-2025) and two years as an independent researcher. He earned his Ph.D. (2022), M.Phil. (2018) and B.S. (2015) in Mathematics at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where his doctoral advisor was Naichung Conan Leung. As a secondary-school student he represented Hong Kong at the International Mathematical Olympiad, winning a bronze medal in 2011 and a silver medal in 2012.

Chi Hong Chow researches mirror symmetry and geometric representation theory, studying D-module mirror conjectures for flag varieties, Peterson's presentation of quantum cohomology of G/P, and affine analogues of the quantum Chevalley formula. Before his current postdoc at Virginia Tech he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics (2024-2025). He completed all his degrees at CUHK under Naichung Conan Leung, and earlier represented Hong Kong at the IMO in 2011 (bronze) and 2012 (silver).
