Dániel Nagy

Dániel Nagy is a Hungarian mathematician who represented Hungary at the 50th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO 2009, Bremen, Germany). Competing as a 12th-grade student at the Fazekas Mihály Fővárosi Gyakorló Gimnázium in Budapest, he scored 23 points and won a bronze medal, placing 148th of 565 contestants. His per-problem scores were 7, 7, 1, 5, 3, 0. The IMO is the world's most prestigious pre-university mathematics competition, and a Hungarian IMO medal identifies him as one of the strongest young mathematicians of his cohort.
