Darko Velkoski is an AI development expert and data scientist based in Berlin, currently at SAP. He grew up in North Macedonia and represented his country at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) in 2004, earning an Honourable Mention (rank 351, 8 points). He earned a degree in Computer Science at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (2004-2010) and an M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence at KU Leuven (2010-2011). His career spans research and industry roles: research internships at KU Leuven and Philips Research, software engineering at Clear2Pay, data science at Nuance Communications and Code Chemistry, and senior data science and AI roles at SAP. His stated interest is in advancing human-centered AI technologies and applications.
