Dauren Auzhani

Dauren Auzhani is a Kazakhstan-based finance and investment professional, currently Head of Analysis and Valuation of Investment Projects at Eurasian Resources Group (ERG), the Luxembourg-headquartered mining and metals group spanning ferrochrome, cobalt and copper. He studied at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT). Before his corporate finance career he was a mathematics prodigy: he represented Kazakhstan at the 2003 International Mathematical Olympiad in Tokyo, winning a bronze medal. His career path runs from olympiad-level mathematics into investment valuation and financial analysis.
