Dieter Aschauer is an Austrian mathematician who represented Austria at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) twice. In 1976, competing at the IMO held in Lienz, Austria, he won a bronze medal with 21 points (rank 43), including a perfect score of 8 on Problem 3.
