Frosti Pétursson

Frosti Pétursson represented Iceland at the International Mathematical Olympiad twice, winning a bronze medal in 1990 (Beijing, 20 points, rank 96) and again in 1991 (Sigtuna, 23 points, rank 117). He was a student at Menntaskólinn á Akureyri (Akureyri junior college) and received the Icelandic Mathematical Society's matriculation prize in mathematics in 1991. He later served on the problem/adjudication committees of the Icelandic Mathematical Society's high-school mathematics competition.
