Gábor E. Gévay is a Hungarian computer scientist and senior software engineer at Materialize, where he works on query optimization. He earned his PhD at the Database Systems and Information Management (DIMA) group at TU Berlin, publishing on iteration and control flow in distributed dataflow systems (Apache Flink). As a student he competed for Hungary at the International Olympiad in Informatics, winning a bronze medal at IOI 2009.
