Gianmarco Sangiovanni Castellanos

Dominican mathematics student and olympiad competitor from the Distrito Nacional. Represented the Dominican Republic at the International Mathematical Olympiad in 2023 and 2024, earning an Honourable Mention in 2024 with 14 points (ranked 366th, top 40%), and won a bronze medal at the 38th Ibero-American Mathematics Olympiad in Rio de Janeiro (September 2023), the only Dominican prizewinner among 82 contestants. Studied at the technical secondary level of the Instituto Politecnico Loyola (IPL). Now works as a contractor for Mercor, designing and reviewing olympiad-style mathematics problems used to train and evaluate AI models.
