Guillaume Texier

Guillaume Texier is the Chief Executive Officer of Rexel Group, the Paris-listed electrical-distribution company, a role he took on 1 September 2021 after serving as Rexel's Deputy CEO and head of its Europe region. A graduate of École Polytechnique and of the Corps des Mines, he began his career in the French civil service as a technical adviser to the ministers for ecology and industry before a long industrial career at Saint-Gobain, where he was group Chief Financial Officer and led units including Ceramic Materials and CertainTeed Roofing. He is also a non-executive director of Veolia and, since June 2026, Chair of the UN Global Compact Network France. As a student he represented France at the 1991 International Mathematical Olympiad, winning a bronze medal.
