Two-time IOI medalist for Kyrgyzstan (silver 2024, bronze 2026) and Codeforces Master 'yanb0'. A student at the Gazprom Kyrgyzstan school in Bishkek, he is ranked among the strongest young programmers in Central Asia, with a rare dual record in informatics and olympiad mathematics (IMO 2023-2026) and Kyrgyzstan's first-ever APIO gold in 2025.

Ian (Yan) Bobrus is a competitive programmer from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, a student at the "Gazprom Kyrgyzstan" school. He represented Kyrgyzstan at the International Olympiad in Informatics twice: IOI 2024 in Alexandria (silver medal, rank 79/353, 302.28/600) and IOI 2026 in Tashkent (bronze medal, rank 100/375, 299.03/600). He is also a strong olympiad mathematician, competing in the IMO for Kyrgyzstan every year 2023-2026. On Codeforces he competes as 'yanb0' (Master, peak rating 2179). In 2025 he became the first student from Kyrgyzstan to win gold at the Asian-Pacific Informatics Olympiad (APIO), and he has also medaled in AI olympiads (IOAI).
