Ivaylo Riskov

Ivaylo Riskov is a Bulgarian computer scientist who won a gold medal at the International Olympiad in Informatics in 2003 (rank 2 worldwide, score 427.90/600). He went on to study at MIT, where he served as a lab assistant for course 6.001 and helped organize the MIT 2008 ACM ICPC contest. He later conducted computer-vision research on object detection and recognition with Bernt Heisele (MIT CBCL) as co-author of 'Components for Object Detection and Identification'. He is based in the New York area.
