Kirill Batuzov

Kirill Andreyevich Batuzov (Батузов Кирилл Андреевич) is a Russian systems-software researcher at the Ivannikov Institute for System Programming of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ISP RAS), working on compilers, dynamic binary translation (QEMU TCG), and binary-code analysis. As a schoolboy from Saratov he won a gold medal representing Russia at the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) 2004 in Athens, ranked 10th with 495/600, after a 2nd-place finish at the 2004 All-Russian Olympiad in Informatics. He studied at Moscow State University's Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics and earned a Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences degree (2018) for a dissertation on optimization methods for dynamic binary translation. He contributes to open-source systems projects including QEMU and Dyninst.
