Konstantin Lopyrev

Konstantin Lopyrev is a Senior Staff Software Engineer and tech lead/manager at Google in New York, where he works on embedding models for news and social media content retrieval and ranking in Google Search. He represented Canada at the 2007 International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI), winning a bronze medal (ranked 88), and previously won the Canadian Computing Competition. He studied Software Engineering at the University of Waterloo and later earned a Master's in Computer Science at Stanford, where he did research with Percy Liang. He is a co-author of the SQuAD reading-comprehension dataset paper.
