Michal Kubeček

Michal Kubeček is a Czech software engineer and former mathematical olympiad competitor. He represented Czechoslovakia at the International Mathematical Olympiad in 1991 (silver, 35 pts) and 1992 (silver, 28 pts), both times ranked 47th, and won first prize at the 1994 International Mathematics Competition for university students while at Charles University Prague. He works as a Linux kernel engineer at SUSE, contributing to the networking subsystem, and maintains the ethtool utility and its netlink interface.
