Trần Nguyễn Thanh Danh (born 2005, Vietnam) is a Vietnamese mathematics student and competitor. He studied in the specialized mathematics track (class 12 Toán, cohort 2020-2023) at Phổ Thông Năng Khiếu (High School for the Gifted), Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (PTNK, VNU-HCM). In July 2023 he represented Vietnam at the 64th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO 2023) in Chiba, Japan, earning a Bronze Medal with 24 points as part of a Vietnamese team that won medals in all six positions and finished 6th overall. He also placed first (giải Nhất) in Vietnam's national mathematics olympiad and co-authored a geometry article in the math journal Epsilon (June 2023). After graduating he enrolled at the University of Science (Đại học Khoa học tự nhiên), VNU-HCM, where he was a first-year student by early 2024. His achievements earned a Prime Minister's commendation and a nomination for the 2023 Vietnam Outstanding Young Face award.
