Nina Holden is a Norwegian mathematician working in probability theory and mathematical physics, including graphons, random planar maps, Schramm-Loewner evolution, Liouville quantum gravity and their applications to quantum gravity. She was a Junior Fellow at ETH Zurich and is an Associate Professor at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University. As a high-school student at Berg Upper Secondary School in Oslo she became the first woman to win the Abel competition, Norway's national Mathematical Olympiad, and competed at the 2005 International Mathematical Olympiad, earning an honorable mention.
