Vietnamese mathematician working in number theory and arithmetic geometry, specifically Euler systems, Iwasawa theory, Galois representations and L-functions. Currently a Math Fellow (formerly Visiting Assistant Professor) at UC Santa Barbara with Francesc Castella; previously Assistant Adjunct Professor at UCLA with Romyar Sharifi. PhD in Mathematics from Princeton (2022, advisor Christopher Skinner), after Part III at Cambridge and a BSc in Pure Mathematics at Imperial College London. Also collaborates with Trung Phan applying mathematics to biology and physics.

Đỗ Kim Tuấn represented Vietnam at the 52nd International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO 2011, Amsterdam) as a student at Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, winning a bronze medal. He went on to a mathematics research career: BSc Pure Mathematics, Imperial College London (2012-2015); MASt (Part III), University of Cambridge (2015-2016); PhD Mathematics, Princeton University (2016-2022, advisor Christopher Skinner); Assistant Adjunct Professor, UCLA (2022-2025); and currently Math Fellow at UC Santa Barbara.
