Olle Renérus Rehnquist is a Swedish mathematics student from Gothenburg. He attended Hvitfeldtska gymnasiet, where he won (shared first place) Skolornas matematiktävling 2023, Sweden's national mathematics competition, and was selected for Sweden's team at the 64th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO 2023, Chiba, Japan), earning an Honourable Mention with 11 points. He was later named a reserve for Sweden's IMO 2024 team. He now studies mathematics at the University of Toronto, funded in part by the Anna Whitlock memorial fund, and serves as Vice-President Academics of AMACSS, the student association at UTSC.

- Represented Sweden at the 64th IMO (2023, Chiba, Japan) and earned an Honourable Mention with 11 points (rank 425/618), the top Swedish individual result besides John Hedin's 23.Jul 2023
- Now studies mathematics at the University of Toronto, having completed a first year of the bachelor's program and praising the department's reading courses and academic advising; the move abroad continues a trajectory from national competition to a large research department.Jun 1, 2025
- Tied for first place in Skolornas matematiktavling 2023, Sweden's national mathematics competition, sharing the title with John Hedin of Lund.Dec 5, 2023
- Serves as Vice-President Academics of AMACSS (Association of Mathematical and Computer Science Students) at U of T Scarborough, a leadership role taken alongside his studies.Nov 2025
- Won the competition while at Hvitfeldtska gymnasiet in Gothenburg, having been introduced to it only when starting gymnasium, so a national title within roughly three years of entry suggests unusually fast mathematical development.Jun 26, 2024
- Named a reserve for Sweden's IMO 2024 team (Bath, UK), so he remains inside the national selection pipeline after 2023.May 2024
- Studying at U of T is funded partly by Anna Whitlocks minnesfond, a scholarship supporting Swedish students studying abroad, which he cites to offset the high international tuition.Jun 1, 2025
- Presented an AMACSS colloquium, 'Symmetries of Geometric Objects', engaging students with group theory, an early sign of interest in pure mathematics beyond coursework.Nov 2024
- Selected for Sweden's 2023 IMO team alongside Erik Hedin, John Hedin, Mikael Haglund, Jiachen Mi and Ivar Angquist, with team leader Victor Ufnarovski.Jul 2023
- Addresses his own notes as 'Olle Renerius Rehnquist' on U of T forms, giving the full registered name behind the public short form.2025
