Stéphane Guillermou is a French mathematician and CNRS researcher (directeur de recherche) at the Laboratoire de Mathématiques Jean Leray (UMR 6629, CNRS / Nantes Université). He earned his PhD in 1995 at Université Pierre-et-Marie-Curie (Paris VI) under Pierre Schapira. His work sits at the interface of the microlocal theory of sheaves and symplectic topology: sheaf quantization of Hamiltonian isotopies, non-displaceability of Lagrangians, and the symplectic geometry of cotangent bundles. He represented France at the International Mathematical Olympiad in 1988 and 1989, winning a bronze medal both years.
