Lee Zhuo Zhao

Lee Zhuo Zhao (published as Zhuo Zhao / Lee Zhao / L. Z. Zhao) represented the United Kingdom at the 47th International Mathematical Olympiad in Ljubljana, Slovenia (2006), scoring 14 and earning an Honourable Mention. Educated at Nottingham High School, he went on to a PhD at the University of Cambridge's Statistical Laboratory, working in probability theory (branching random walks, regular trees) with M. I. Roberts. He featured as himself in the documentaries Beautiful Young Minds (2007) and A Brilliant Young Mind / X+Y (2014), which dramatised the UK's IMO training camp.
