Replying to the post "Setlist supporting Iron Maiden last night!".

> Our sole purpose as the sole opener on this tour is to pump up the crowd for the legendary Iron Maiden, our new songs are winning over their audience and we are being received very well. According to the band and their crew this is the first time in years that an opener has not been greeting with middle fingers. We also, in true fashion, do whatever we want and chase what gets US excited…Because we are Fans of the music we create. We are so grateful to the entire Iron Maiden fleet for having us on this grand adventure.

> Hey Lzzy! My name's Sam and I'm a musician and lyricist myself. Ive been struggling a paradigm that I'm not sure how to approach. Everyonce in a while I find myself in a prolonged writers block. It tends to be during times where I'm generally happier and content with life. Once…

> It helps to remember that everyone goes through it. I read an article where Tom Petty talked about working on Free falling and American girl for months. It just takes time sometimes. What I’ve learned is that even if you write a song that you end up thinking isn’t any good, through the act of finishing it, there is actually progress made…you are circling around a subject that just hasn’t become clear yet. For example. Mz Hyde started out as a song called “Black Stockings” and had three other versions before Mz Hyde revealed herself. Put in the work, and don’t be hard on yourself. The greatest songwriters who ever existed had all your same feelings and road blocks.

> A fan/ friend of ours had them made so that I have something weighty that can be tossed far to the back of the audience! They remind me of pog slammers.. but that’s me acting myself… they are all numbered, I have about 10 left to give away

Replying to the post "What are your three controversial Halestorm opinions?".

> We are not improving/ jamming so I can take a break vocally. 90 mins is honestly not a big deal for me, and nothing I do singing wise is damaging. We improv/jam so that we can better hone our musical language together. It’s the most freeing /terrifying feeling to do something new on the spot in front of people, and so it challenges us to be better musicians.
