- Started the Glean Assistant's Quality team — we combined search with LLMs via RAG/Agents to power a ChatGPT-like experience but across your company's GDrive / Slack / Jira etc.

- Helped build numerous NLP systems from scratch in the enterprise context — lexical +
vector search with personalization at company, function and employee levels.

- Wore many hats across early engineering, product & technical marketing. Helped grow the AI team to 10+ people. Published 8 patents.
- Research Engineer at Meta - Menlo Park, CA (Jan 2017 - Jan 2020): - Tech lead for semantic parsing models – algorithms, infra, data flywheels, and on-device inference – deployed on Quest, Portal, and later on AI glasses.

- Led development of a COVID-19 WhatsApp chatbot in collaboration with the WHO, which
serviced 14m users in 20 languages, responding to 165m questions.

- Co-created the open-source library PyText, which internally powered billions of daily pre-
dictions across Ads & Translation.

- Published 5 papers, and gave talks at NeurIPS and EMNLP.

- Thesis on AI-based breast cancer screening, piloted in understaffed Indian hospitals.
