Adrian Reginald Sy is a Filipino software engineer and former national math Olympian. He represented the Philippines at the International Mathematical Olympiad three years running (2013 bronze, 2014 and 2015 silver) while a student at Saint Jude Catholic School in Manila, then studied Computer Science at MIT (BS 2019, MEng 2020), where he researched at CSAIL's Haystack and HCI Engineering groups and taught as an EECS teaching assistant. He interned in technology at Bridgewater Associates, the large systematic macro hedge fund, in the summers of 2018 and 2019, building security-controls validation and entity-resolution tooling.
