Notes
  • Quant employment verification: CONFIRMED. Identity is supported across independent sources (Stanford resume, IOI 1989 record, DBLP, Facebook patents). Employment evidence: the resume documents an actual full-time role as Senior Software Developer at Marketcetera, Inc. (2/2008-12/2009), building core components of the Marketcetera Open Source Algorithmic Trading platform including the order routing server (ORS) re-architecture. Employer classification: Marketcetera was a trading-technology software vendor whose product was an algorithmic/automated trading platform - it operates in the systematic/algorithmic-trading space but is NOT an investment firm, hedge fund, market maker, bank, or asset manager, and his role was software engineering on trading infrastructure rather than quantitative research or strategy execution. No other role or internship at a quant fund, bank, asset manager, market maker, or energy/crypto trading firm was found; the other employers (Align Technology, Facebook, Magnolia Creek, Metanautix, Microsoft, Centaur Analytics) are not quantitative-finance firms.Feb 2008
  • Marketcetera classified: Marketcetera, Inc. was a software vendor that built and sold an open-source algorithmic/automated trading platform (strategy automation, FIX routing, market data) which it marketed as 'democratizing access to high frequency trading' - a trading-technology vendor, not an investment firm, fund, or bank; Lerios's 2008-2009 role was Senior Software Developer on the platform itself (order routing server re-architecture), i.e. engineering for trading infrastructure.Feb 2008
