Barış Temelkuran

Baris Temelkuran is a London-based FX options and macro trader. He spent roughly twelve years at Goldman Sachs (2006-2018), rising to head of exotic FX options trading, then served as Global Head of FX Options Trading at BNP Paribas from July 2018 until his exit was reported in 2021. He stepped back from firm employment for roughly 2021-2026 (described on LinkedIn and in trade press as a sabbatical), and in January 2026 Bloomberg reported he had joined ExodusPoint Capital Management, a multi-strategy hedge fund, as a macro portfolio manager (joined 2 February, per FN London).
