Notes
  • Quantitative Trader at Jane Street in London since September 2022 - an unambiguous quantitative market-making/proprietary trading firm; role stated on his own LinkedIn profile.Sep 2022
  • Quant employment verification: CONFIRMED. Identity is supported (IMO 2017 Gold / 2018 Bronze, IOI 2017 Silver / 2018 Bronze for Italy; Harvard CS '22; GitHub 'FabioPru' bio 'Harvard College class of '22, IOI silver medalist'). Employment evidence: his own public LinkedIn profile states Quantitative Trader at Jane Street, London, from September 2022 to present. Jane Street is unambiguously a quantitative proprietary trading firm/market maker. Note: the role evidence rests on the subject's self-published LinkedIn profile plus a professional-index record derived from it; no independent employer-side confirmation (e.g. a Jane Street page or press item) was found.Sep 2022
  • Gained admission to Harvard and enrolled fall 2018 in Computer Science; graduated as Harvard College class of 2022.Sep 16, 2018
  • Fabio Pruneri represented Italy at both the International Mathematical Olympiad and the International Olympiad in Informatics - a rare dual-Olympiad profile: IMO 2017 Gold and 2018 Bronze, IOI 2017 Silver and 2018 Bronze.Jul 2018
  • In 2019 he worked as a Research Intern at RWTH Aachen University (Aachen, Germany), in the department of Linguistics: cleaned and analyzed a 15,000,000+ row dataset, wrote a C program to preprocess JSON keystroke logs, and did statistical analysis.2019

  • Namesake caution: an unrelated older academic also named Fabio Pruneri (educational history, University of Sassari) owns the X account @Fabio_Pruneri and much of the academic web footprint; these must not be conflated with the Olympiad/Jane Street Fabio Pruneri.Jun 2026
  • GitHub account github.com/FabioPru (bio: 'Harvard College class of '22, IOI silver medalist') corroborates the identity independently of LinkedIn; repos include a CS182 final project 'nyc-taxi'.Nov 2020
