John Albert Overdeck

John Albert Overdeck (born 1969) is an American billionaire hedge-fund manager, co-founder and co-chairman of Two Sigma Investments, a New York City quantitative hedge fund. A silver medalist for the United States at the 1986 International Mathematical Olympiad, he earned a B.S. in Mathematics and an M.S. in Statistics from Stanford University. He was previously a managing director at D.E. Shaw & Co. and a vice president at Amazon.com before co-founding Two Sigma in 2001.
