I am a graduate trainee at Standard Bank with an interest in applying a quantitative approach to solving problems in various fields, particularly in finance and technology. As a life-long learner, some of my most valuable skills and knowledge has often come from the progress I have made in the programming projects I have worked on, both in university and my own personal capacity. With a background in technical subjects such as Mathematics and Statistics, the understanding of complex ideas by students often has significantly more support from lecturers and professors than the communication of those ideas. Thus, I am fortunate to have been a tutor in the UCT Computer Science Department for more than a year, as this allowed me to develop the ability to communicate complicated concepts in a clear and concise manner. Outside my academic and professional career, I am also an avid chess and table tennis player.
