I spent most of my time in high school doing competitive programming and mathematics, culminating in participating in the international olympiads for both. Nowadays I study mathematics, physics and computer science at Chalmers, while also dedicating significant time to personal projects. I play CTF, recently as part of the Swedish team achieving 6th place in the European Cyber Security Challenge 2022.

Notes
  • Quant employment verification: CONFIRMED. Employment evidence: LinkedIn lists a full-time Software Engineer role at Jane Street (oct 2025-present) and a Software Engineering Intern stint at Jane Street (London, 2024), plus a Software Engineering Intern stint at Google (Dublin, 2023); identity is supported by the GitHub/IMO/Chalmers cross-links above. Employer classification: Jane Street is a quantitative trading firm and market maker, so the roles are quant-finance-adjacent (corporate software engineering, not a trading-desk/trader title). Caveat: the Jane Street role evidence is index-only (LinkedIn-derived), so it is not independently primary-source confirmed and carries that residual uncertainty.Sep 17, 2026
  • Identity corroborated across three independent surfaces: the LinkedIn profile (linkedin.com/in/loke-gustafsson-385376178), the GitHub account github.com/lokegustafsson, and the IMO 2019/2020 Sweden team listings all resolve to the same person; the LinkedIn-derived index record pairs the LinkedIn and GitHub links, and both name Loke Gustafsson of Gothenburg/Chalmers.Sep 17, 2026
  • Career timeline (index-only, LinkedIn-derived): Software Engineering Intern at Google, Dublin (2023); Software Engineering Intern at Jane Street, London (2024); Software Engineer at Jane Street (oct 2025-present). All three are software-engineering roles; no quantitative-research, trading, or market-making title appears.Sep 17, 2026
