Pedram Safaee

Pedram Safaee is a mathematician working in dynamical systems and ergodic theory. He represented the Islamic Republic of Iran at the International Mathematical Olympiad 2012, winning a gold medal (29 points, rank 30). He studied at Sharif University of Technology (IMC 2014 team member), completed a PhD at the University of Zurich as a member of NCCR SwissMAP in Artur Avila's group, and is listed as a postdoctoral researcher at Ecole Polytechnique (Paris). His research co-authorships include works on interval exchange transformations with Artur Avila, Giovanni Forni and Hesam Rajabzadeh, published in Geometric and Functional Analysis and the Journal of the European Mathematical Society.
