Ranald Yun Shao Lam

Ranald Yun Shao Lam (also 'Ranald Lam', online handle ranaldmiao; juniors call him 'Rar the Cat') is a Singaporean software engineer and International Olympiad in Informatics medalist. Representing Singapore at IOI 2012, 2013 and 2014, he won one gold, one silver and one bronze. He studied Computer Science at the National University of Singapore (Bachelor of Computing, Honours), focusing on algorithms and database systems, and competed for NUS in the ACM ICPC as part of Team Pandamiao. He has worked as a software engineer and technical-operations intern at Jump Trading LLC, the Chicago-headquartered proprietary/high-frequency trading firm, and previously interned at Garena Online (now Sea Group) and TinkerTanker. He built and maintains the mrJudge online judge at dunjudge.me, which he used to run competitive-programming training.
