Adam D'Angelo is an American internet entrepreneur, co-founder and CEO of Quora (Mountain View, CA) and the first CTO of Facebook (2006-2008). Born 1984 in Redding, Connecticut, he attended Phillips Exeter Academy and Caltech (BS Computer Science, 2002-2006). As a high-school competitive programmer he won a silver medal at IOI 2002 for the USA and later competed in the ICPC World Finals and TopCoder. He co-founded Quora in 2009 with Charlie Cheever, and serves on the boards of OpenAI and Asana, leading Quora's AI push with the Poe chatbot platform.
