Akhmet Issa

Akhmet Issa is a Kazakh competitive programmer and IOI 2024 bronze medalist. He represented Kazakhstan at the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) 2024 in Alexandria, Egypt, scoring 240.47/600 (rank 148/353), competing as a 10th-grade student at the Kyzylorda Regional Boarding Lyceum-School "Bilim-Innovation". He first won bronze at EJOI 2022 (80/600, rank 13/91). He competes on Codeforces under the handle 'Issa' with the title Master. By 2025 he had enrolled in the HKU Faculty of Engineering in Hong Kong and reached the Hack4SDG 2025 finals with HKU team 'Ilim'.
