Aleksandr Karalyan

Aleksandr Karalyan is an Armenian mathematician and education entrepreneur. He represented Armenia at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) 2018 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, winning a silver medal with 28 points (rank 87). He is a co-founder and the Program Director of Kapan Math Club, an olympiad-mathematics education initiative founded in June 2020 in Kapan, Syunik, Armenia, which teaches advanced math to hundreds of students across the Syunik region. He is one of four IMO medalists on the club's founding and teaching team.
