Andrej Krčmar is a mathematician and high-school student from Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and one of the most decorated mathematics competitors in the country's history. He represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at the International Mathematical Olympiad four consecutive years (2023-2026), winning a gold medal at IMO 2024 in Bath, UK with 30/42 points - the country's first IMO gold in 32 years - and silver medals at IMO 2023, 2025 and 2026. He also competed for BiH at the International Olympiad in Informatics 2025 and has won numerous prizes in physics and computer-science competitions. In February 2026, while in his final year at Gimnazija Banja Luka, he was accepted to the University of Cambridge.
