Andrew Tugume is a Ugandan data analyst and a former mathematics Olympiad contestant. As a student at Mengo Senior Secondary School he was selected for Uganda's team at the 58th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO 2017) in Rio de Janeiro, where he won an honourable mention - Uganda's best result that year. He went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Civil and Building Engineering at Kyambogo University (2017-2022) and works as a Data Analyst at Govnet Services in Kampala, applying a mathematical background to Python, SQL, Excel and Power BI, and has returned to the olympiad programme as a coach for Uganda's IMO team.
