DODenis Ovchinnikov
Denis Ovchinnikov is a mathematician and software engineer. He represented Kazakhstan at the 2010 International Mathematical Olympiad, winning a gold medal (rank 13, 31 points). He earned a BS in Mathematics from Novosibirsk State University (2010-2014) and a PhD in Pure and Applied Mathematics from Stevens Institute of Technology (2014-2020), where he remained as a professor of Mathematics. His research (with Albert Garreta and Alexei Miasnikov) concerns Diophantine problems in solvable groups and related group theory. He currently works as a Senior Deep Learning Algorithms Engineer at NVIDIA, applying C++, cryptography and machine learning.
