Dennis (Denis) Neshtoon represented Azerbaijan at the 9th International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI 1997, Cape Town) and won a bronze medal, finishing 79th of 221 with 244/600 - the top result on Azerbaijan's delegation. He competed again at IOI 1998. He went on to a career in Russian enterprise IT and is now general director and a 25% owner of RCNTEC (ARCIENTEK), a Moscow vendor of network, data-centre and video-conferencing infrastructure. He continues to write software himself, an engineer-CEO combination he has publicly discussed.
