Fabian Prada (full name Fabian Prada Nino) represented Colombia at the 2006 International Mathematical Olympiad, earning an honourable mention with 14 points. He holds a BSc in Mathematics from Universidad de los Andes, an MSc in Mathematics from IMPA (Brazil), and a PhD in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University, where his thesis 'Signal Processing on Textured Meshes' extended image-processing techniques to signals on triangle meshes. He is now a Research Scientist in Meta's Codec Avatars Lab in Pittsburgh, working on 3D avatar and human digitization research.
