Jean-François Martin

Jean-François Martin represented France at the International Mathematical Olympiad three years running, winning a silver medal each time - 2008 (rank 127, 22 pts), 2009 (rank 130, 24 pts) and 2010 (rank 60, 24 pts, 88.6th percentile). In August 2012, aged 18, he was admitted both to Ecole Polytechnique and to ENS (Normale Sup), described by Le Progres as a 'fort en maths' on track for a research career.
