Lukas Novak

Lukas Novak is a Croatian mathematician. He represented Croatia at the International Mathematical Olympiad in 2017, winning a silver medal (20/42 points, rank 103) at the 58th IMO in Rio de Janeiro, having also competed in 2015. He came up through the Varaždin Centre of Excellence in Mathematics and attended Gimnazija Josipa Slavenskog in Čakovec. He is now an assistant (asistent) at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Zagreb (PMF).

Lukas Novak (mag. math.) is a Croatian mathematician who represented Croatia at the International Mathematical Olympiad, winning a silver medal at IMO 2017 in Rio de Janeiro with 20/42 points (rank 103). He first competed at IMO 2015 from Čakovec. As a student at Gimnazija Josipa Slavenskog in Čakovec he trained at the Varaždin Centre of Excellence in Mathematics (Centar izvrsnosti iz matematike) from the 5th grade of primary school. He now works as an assistant (asistent) at the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb.
