Agathon AG · Switzerland · operator

Swiss applied mathematician and software specialist, currently Spezialist Algorithmische Geometrie at Agathon AG in Bellach, Switzerland. Former IMO contestant for Switzerland (2004 bronze, 2005 and 2006 silver) and holder of a Dr. sc. ETH Zurich (2016) in numerical optimization on manifolds. Career spans Hexagon AB, IRPD and Agathon AG.

Swiss mathematician. Represented Switzerland at the International Mathematical Olympiad three consecutive years, earning bronze in 2004 (Bratislava) and silver in 2005 and 2006. After competition mathematics he completed a doctorate in applied mathematics at ETH Zurich (2016) on numerical methods for optimization and variational problems with manifold-valued data under Philipp Grohs, then moved into industry, working as a mathematician at Hexagon AB (2016-2021), a software engineer at IRPD (2021-2022), and since 2022 as a specialist in algorithmic geometry at Agathon AG.
