Martin Dindoš

Martin Dindoš is Professor of Harmonic Analysis and Partial Differential Equations at the School of Mathematics, University of Edinburgh, a position he has held since 2006. He earned his PhD in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1997-2001), with a dissertation on Hardy spaces and potential theory advised by Michael E. Taylor. As a school student he represented Czechoslovakia at the International Mathematical Olympiad in 1990 (Beijing), winning a bronze medal with 16 points. His research concerns solvability of boundary value problems, elliptic and parabolic operators, and Dirichlet and Neumann problems.
